철저히 준비하라(Be thoroughly prepared)
이 세상에는 두 종류의 사람이 있지요.

우리가 기쁨 가운데 있을 때 하나님은 속삭이시지만
우리가 고통가운데 있을 때 그분은 크게 외치십니다.
아무리 곤경에 처해도 당황하지 마십시오.
사방이 다 막혀도 위쪽은 언제나 뚫려있고
하늘을 바라보면 희망이 생깁니다.
젊음은 마음의 상태이지
나이의 문제가 아님을 명심하십시요.
매력은 눈을 놀라게 하지만 미덕은 영혼을 사로잡습니다.
믿음은 칫솔과도 같은것
정기적으로 매일 사용해야 하는것,
그러나 남의 것은 쓸수가 없는 것입니다.
때때로 죽음을 생각하십시요.
그리고 그 위에 당신의 생명을 설계하십시오.
오늘이 마지막이라고 생각하십시오.
죽음의 기로에 서 있음을 안다면
한층 인생의 무게가 더해질 것입니다.
좋은 집을 지으려 하기보다 좋은 가정을 지으십시오.
호화주택을 짓고도 다투며 사는 사람이 있는가 하면
오막살이 안에 웃음과 노래가 가득한 집이 있으니...
크게 되기 위해서는
먼저 작게 시작해야 할 때가 있음을 기억하십시오.
좋은 나무는 쉽게 크지 않습니다.
바람이 강하면 나무도 강해지고
숲이 어두우면 나무는 하늘을 향해 높이 뻗어갑니다.
햇빛과 추위와 비와 눈은 모두
나무를 좋은 재목으로 만들어주는
최고급 영양소 입니다.
인생의 시계는 단 한번 멈추지만
언제 어느 시간에 멈출지는 아무도 모릅니다.
지금이 내 시간이라 하고 살며
사랑하며 수고하고 미워하지만 내일은 믿지 마십시오.
그때는 시계가 멈출지도 모르기 때문입니다..
인생에서 중요한 것은 실패하지 않는 것이 아니라
실패해도 좌절하지 않는데 있는 것입니다.
꿈을 계속 가지고 있으면 언젠가는 반드시
그것을 실현할 때가 올 것입니다.
그러므로 오늘 어떤 꿈을 가지고 있다면
